The duo of Katelynn Flaherty and Hallie Thome were too much for the Big Sky champions as the Wolverines advanced with a 75-61 win.

Flaherty, Michigan's all-time leading scorer for either gender, scored 20 points and Thome dominated inside, finishing with 24 points on 9-of-14 shooting. The No. 7 seed shot 57% (28-of-49) and didn't trail after Flaherty drained a 3-pointer with just over five minutes left in the opening quarter.

In its first-ever trip to the NCAAs, Northern Colorado was led by the Savannah's, Scott (game-high 25 points) and Smith (16 points).
