Impressive victory for the Fighting Irish, who moved into the tournament final with a 92-53 win.
The defense held LSU to 36 percent shooting (19-of-52) and forced 17 turnovers. Meanwhile, point guard Matt Farrell was in control of the game from the start, finishing with 17 points and seven assists. Great night as well for Temple Gibbs (26 points, 6-of-10 shooting from three).
Led by Farrell, the 5-0 Irish had 18 assists on 33 made field goals and turned the ball over just five times.
Wichita State's excellent guard Landry Shamet goes up against Farrell in what should be a great championship game on Wednesday.
