Game 217 - (1) Golden State Warriors at (3) Oklahoma CityThunder
Western Conference Finals
May 28 at Chesapeake Arena in Oklahoma City, OK
ABC
Good heavens, Klay Thompson.
The Warriors' guard scored 41 points and hit 11 (!) 3-pointers in a 108-101 victory that evened the best-of-seven series.
Game 7 is Monday.
Incredible what Thompson and Steph Curry were able to do as Curry just missed a triple-double (31 points, 10 rebounds, nine assists). That's 72 of the team's 108 points.
Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook were a combined 20-for-58 (34%), though Westbrook also just missed a triple-double - 28 points, 11 assists and nine rebounds.

New rule: if the teams are still tied after one overtime, Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry play one-on-one to....37? (49?) to determine the winner.
Even if it's not a Warriors-Thunder game, Durant & Curry are flown to your city to complete your game.
* Two things, Jeff Van Gundy:
1. When talking about a blocked shot, don't say "the long arm of the law"
2. "I couldn't ball at all!" HAS to be the title of a future Jeff Van Gundy coaching video (VHS only).

Game 1 - San Antonio Spurs at Oklahoma City Thunder
October 28 at Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, OK

What an excellent opener for 200 Game Season as the Thunder erased a seven-point, fourth quarter deficit to win 112-106.
Russell Westbrook had a great night - 33 points and 10 assists - but it was back up guard Dion Waiters who hit the tying (pull-up jumper with 2:12 left) and go-ahead (fall away at 1:34) baskets for Oklahoma City.
Kawhi Leonard is a pleasure to watch and Wednesday he led the Spurs with his first-career 30-point game (he scored 32) and played excellent defense throughout. I can't believe he hasn't yet made an all-star team, but I think that changes this season.
* ESPN's Doris Burke interviewed new OKC coach Billy Donovan before the start of the fourth and he had this to say about Westbrook:
"He's been great all year long."
All one hour and 54 minutes long?
