The duo of Kionna Jeter and Danielle Durjan was very impressive in the Tigers' 73-52 victory.
Jeter, who came into the night 15th nationally in scoring, started slowly, but used a nice mid-range jumper and the ability to find her own shot whenever she needed to for a game-high 19 points on 50% shooting. Jeter also had five of Towson's 11 steals.
Durjan had one of the most efficient nights we've seen at 200 Game Season, scoring 16 points, including a perfect 4-for-4 from three-point range, in just 19 minutes off the bench.
Towson is an impressive offensive rebounding team - seventh nationally coming in - and were all over the glass Monday. Led by Nukiya Mayo, who grabbed five offensive rebounds to go along with 16 points, the visitors had 20 offensive rebounds. That helped lead to 24 second-chance points and allow Towson to turn a three-point halftime deficit into a blowout win.
