Patriot League Network

Army trailed by 19 points during the early stages of the second half, but rallied for a remarkable, 81-71 victory.

The first half was all-Lafayette as the Leopards hit half of their 14 three-point attempts and raced out to a 43-26 lead, while Army missed 15 of its 18 three-point looks and shot 28% overall. The Black Knights began their comeback at the 18:23 on a pair of Matt Wilson free throws, and Tommy Funk's 3-pointer with just under nine minutes to play capped a 30-11 run and put Army in front 56-53. The teams traded leads a handful of times, but Army took the lead back for good at the 4:03 mark and finished the game on a 19-8 spurt.

The hosts played extremely well in the second half, hitting 9-of-15 from behind the arc, turning the ball over just three times and getting 11 assists on 15 made baskets.
