Game No. 440 for us was game No. 100 in Isaiah Williams' career and the senior guard put together a nice night to celebrate.

Williams came off the bench to equal teammate Jeff Thomas with a game-high 15 points and GSU survived blowing another large lead and won 71-68.

The Panthers led by as much as 17 points just four days after losing a 16-point cushion in an overtime loss to Liberty. Montana trailed for virtually the entire second half, but pulled even at 68-68 on a tip-in by Jamar Akoh with 1:10 to go. A minute of bad possessions followed before GSU's Devin Mitchell battled for a rebound and was fouled, making two free throws with 12 seconds to play for a 70-68 lead.

Montana's Ahmaad Rorie (game-high 22 points) dribbled into three players at the other end, leading to a turnover and another free throw at the other end providing the winning margin.

Thomas, who is turning into the Panthers' best all-around player - he can rebound, has gotten better and better defensively and can shoot the three - added eight rebounds to go along with his 15 points on 5-of-10 shooting.
