Game 326 - Wichita State at Missouri State

February 25 at JQH Arena in Springfield, MO
ESPN2

Landry Shamet is some player.

The redshirt-freshman was nearly perfect, scoring a career-high 23 points on 5-of-8 shooting from three and the Shockers turned a close game into a rout, winning 86-67.

Shamet added eight rebounds and five assists and didn't commit a single turnover as Wichita State (27-4, 17-1 Missouri Valley Conference) grabbed at least a share of the league's regular season title with Illinois State (the 16-1 Redbirds visit Northern Iowa today).

Missouri State, which boasts one of the top rebounders in the country in Alize Johnson (he had 18 and 12 on Saturday), was within 50-46 at the 14:08 mark on Ryan Kreklow's 3-pointer. As part of the ensuing, 10-2 run, Shamet nailed a long three, and assisted on a long ball from Daishon Smith and jumper by Shaquille Morris to make it a 60-48 game.

Morris was great down low during the early stages of the game, helping the Shockers get out in front, and finished with 20 points.

There were at least three potential NBA players on the court in Johnson, Shamet and Morris.
